The Management and Staff of NEDECA International LTD,(Customs Licensed Agent)
has applauded the appointment of a seasoned Maritime Technocrat in person of Abubakar Dantsoho as the Managing Director of Nigerian Ports Authority.
In a congratulatory message signed by the Managing Director, Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of NEDECA International, Mr. Chinedu Madubuike, has urged the newly appointed NPA MD to use the wealth of experience which he has garnered over the years in the Nigeria Maritime sector to revitalize and reposition Nigerian Ports for seamless operation and economic advancement of the country.
Mr. Madubuike went further to state that his office, as partners in progress in making Nigeria Maritime industry compete favourably with other maritime Nations of the world, urged the new MD to do all it takes to enhance the electronic call-up system.
He equally advised the new MD to make sure that years of gridlocks that plaque the Western ports corridors of Apapa and TinCan Ports for more than 14 years which ceased early this year does not resurface again.
NEDECA boss who believes that the appointment of Abubakar Dantsoho is well deserved and has confident that he will deliver by promoting a more friendly port environment in the areas of port security and infrastructural advancement and ease of doing business in the ports, advised the new managing director to identify, collaborates and partner with genuine critical maritime stakeholders and groups in order to revitalize and reposition the Nigerian Ports environment for seamless operation and economically viable.
While looking forward to a robust working relationship between NPA management and the NEDECA group, Mr. Madubuike wishes the new MD successful tenure, and prayed that his administration would be one of the best things that will happen to the Nigerian Ports Authority and the Nigeria Maritime industry.
